Southern Encounter (Mount Barker to Goolwa)

The Southern Encounter operates from Mount Barker, down the southern Mount Lofty Ranges, calling at Strathalbyn and Goolwa. Departs Mount Barker 9:30am, returns 6:25pm. Reserved Seating.

SteamRanger Heritage Railway regrets to inform our valued guests, that the Southern Encounter services booked to operate between Mt Barker and Victor Harbor on Sunday 4^th and Sunday 18^th June 2023, will now only operate between Mt Barker and Goolwa due to a train derailment and track repairs between Port Elliot and Victor Harbor.
