Due to ongoing coal supply issues primarily related to supply in NSW due to poor weather, the following services have been altered/cancelled:
Hills Encounter, Saturday October 1st: CANCELLED.
Murray River Connector, Sunday October 9th: CANCELLED.
School Holiday Cockle Trains, October 2022: All services will be DIESEL hauled.
At this point in time, the “Southern Encounter” trains (02/10, 16/10 & 30/10) and “Ghost Train” (29/10), should be hauled by a Steam locomotive, utilising the little reserve of coal that we have available.
All affected passengers will be shortly contacted by our booking staff with available options.
We sincerely apologise to all intending passengers of our cancelled services, unfortunately these factors are completely out of our control.
