SteamRanger’s Ghost Train Movie Night
Are you ready for another year’s journey aboard SteamRanger’s Ghost Train Movie Night!?
The train is set to depart Mt Barker Station on the 29th of October at 5:30pm. Take pleasure in having dinner aboard the train, dressing in your best Halloween costume and watching all sorts of characters throughout the evening.
Enjoy dessert in one of our mysterious Cinemas before watching a film that is sure to get you in the Halloween spirit.
This year’s entertainment will be available for two different groups. Two movies, two locations! Make your choice wisely…
The Family Friendly Ghost Train passengers will alight at Strathalbyn Railway Station before being taken to our Secret Cinema and enjoy watching Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015). This experience is aimed at kids up to the age of 10. Included in your ticket, dinner and a drink aboard the train, dessert at our Secret Cinema, your return ticket and light Halloween themed entertainment.
Drinks and movie food is available for purchase once in the cinema.
The First Class Grown-up Ghost Train passengers will enjoy our first class carriages and dedicated waiting staff in your carriage before alighting at Strathalbyn to be taken to our Creepy Cinema to enjoy dessert before watching A Quiet Place (2018). This experience is aimed at guests from 16 years and older. No children 15 years and under are permitted. Included in your ticket, dinner and 4 non-alcoholic drinks aboard the train or at the venue, dessert at our Creepy Cinema, your First Class Carriage return ticket and light Halloween Themed entertainment.
Alcohol and movie food is available for purchase once in the cinema.

| The Ghost Train Experience—Family Friendly Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015) This is a family friendly group for kids aged up to 15 years old. Follow the trilogy from last year and enjoy sitting back and watching this hilarious movie that will get you into the Halloween spirit. Dress in your best Halloween costume and keep your eyes out for the headless horseman… Why not hire a bean bag for the kids to relax on while the movie is running, or bring your own blanket to enjoy the evening’s entertainment and sit up close to the screen. This event contains no horror themes. This is an alcohol free event. Hotel Transylvania 2 is rated PG (Parental Guidance is recommended for viewers under 15 years of age)

| The Ghost Train Experience—First Class Grown-ups A Quiet Place (2018) This event is for 16 years and up. Experience a horror movie that will have you on the edge of your seat. Relax in comfortable bean bag lounges and remainder of your 4 non-alcoholic drinks with waiting staff on hand throughout the evening all included in your ticket. Alcohol will be available for purchase at our Creepy Cinema. No Alcohol allowed on SteamRanger train. Dress in your best Halloween costume and keep an eye out for the headless horseman… This event contains M rated horror themes. A Quiet Place (2018) is rated M for a mature audience. Recommended for audiences over the age of 15.

| Dessert Assorted mini cakes, chocolate and coffee eclairs, cream puffs and cannoli. For a full menu please contact SteamRanger’s booking office to receive an ingredients menu. Dessert menu is the same for both groups. Drinks Coke, Coke No Sugar, Fanta, Sprite, Lift, Water Apple Juice and Orange Juice only available for Family Friendly Group. Alcohol only available for First Class Grownups Ghost Train once at the venue and only permitted at the venue. |
| Ticket Conditions Family ticket includes 2 adults and 2 children. Family ticket only available for the Family Friendly Group. Children 2 years and under are charged at $36 per child and will be allocated a seat on the bus and venue along with 2 drinks of their choice. Children 2 years and under will NOT be allocated a seat on the train. Children 2 years and under will NOT be allocated dinner service. Children 16 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. One adult can accompany a maximum if 3 children. Children 3 years to 15 years will be charged at normal children’s rates. Children 2 years and under are not eligible for inclusion in the Family Ticket fare. Tickets for Adults, Children 3 years and older include return train fare, dinner, dessert, 2 non-alcoholic drinks, movie and light entertainment. Ticket fares are subject to change.
